A Minha Menina - A Band Of Bees

Also known as The Bees, this band covered the Os Mutantes classic on their debut album. Equal parts silly and beautiful, it has stuck with me since I first heard it. Now I have to listen to Sunshine Hit Me every winter, especially for songs like “Lying In the Snow” and “Sky Holds The Sun” and of course, this little beauty.

The silvery moon hid itself
And the golden sun appeared
A beautiful day dawned
Smelling happiness
Since I dreamt
And woke up thinking of her

This makes me all kinds of happy.
