    elizabethplaid:

    Exit 57 intro

For a very long time, I could only remember the song If I Knew You Were Comin’, I’d’ve Baked a Cake as the song during the end credits of some comedy show. I remembered the end credits featured people driving in a car while the song played, but I couldn’t remember the show’s name.

Thanks to Emergency Pants, I figured out the show was Exit 57. They talked about the show being on in the mid 1990s, and I got to thinking, “Hey, maybe they’d remember what show that cake song is from!” Then they said the theme was the cake song, but they couldn’t remember the lyrics. I sang the lyrics for them excitedly, but then I realized that I was listening to a recorded show… made sometime last year. Damnit!

So yeah, I’ve known the first verse of that song by heart for a long time, and now I know what show it was from. Thank you, Emergency Pants.

    I loved this show!
